Is it possible to have the autorun run without the CDFE splash screen showing up??  Also, is it possible for the presentation to show without the CDFE browser?

Yes, just purchase CD FrontEnd GOLD and you will able to show a custom splash screen or no splash screen at all.

No but you can "hide" the browser if you select the full-screen mode: "Hypertext" "Current hypertext properties" and check the "full screen" checkbox. Check "force full screen" if you want that the user will be unable to minimize / resize the app.
