We have followed the directions for a couple days now and the CD will not auto run.How do you put or where do you find the ar405eng.exe to put in the temp folder that goes on the CD?We have read all the instruction and still can't get anything to auto run. When we put the CD in all that comes is a box that wants you to select a type of program to open the CD.What we want is the CD to open at the start page or cover page of the information which has links to all the pages in the CD.This is getting frustrating.

As you may see with the forum, there are some common user mistakes that prevents the CD to autorun. If you can't solve the problem by reading the previous messages on the forum, please write to the support staff (email cdfrontend@visualvision.com or www.cdfrontend.com/contact/ ) and we will try to understand the little mistake you are doing. As a quick resume the main mistakes are: 1) the end user burns the temporary folder within the main folder of the CD. This is an error as it is *the content* of the temporary folder that you should burn 2) the end user creates the CD with drag and drop from the temporary folder to the CD; this works if DirectCD or PacketCD or similar products are installed on your PC. This is an error as the resulting CD won't work on other PCs without the same software. Instead, you should burn the CD with Nero, Roxio, EasyCD, WinonCD and similar products.... If you experience other problems, please hit F1, click Tutorials, and see the Tutorial related to your task. If any problems, please tell us what step of the Tutorial gives you headaches... As you may guess, unfortunately to say "the CD doesn't work" is a non descriptive sentence, and can not help us to help you!

Just replace the autorun.ico file with another .ico file with another logo (some graphic editing software save directly in the .ico format, or you find also some online image converters that can convert a 32x32 or 64x64 .gif image file into a .ico image file)

or to replace the CDFrontEnd logo shown when it runs, you should replace the Gold.Gif image with another image. This works only for the CDs created with CD FrontEnd GOLD edition (if you have the PRO there is a discount to upgrade to Gold).

contact us directly by email or www.visualvision.com/contact/ with your Order Number or full name and address. depending on how old your edition is we will calculate the price (if your purchase is recent it is not much more than the difference from the respective gold/pro prices)
