my Vista could not open PDF files

I use "run:pdf file name" and try to open a root PDF file under Vista OS, it comes back with "It seems the viewer of the file is not present", while the Acrobat reader is present.
If I go direct to the directory where the pdf is, then double click on it, then it opens ok.

The same script run fine (ie, will open pdf) under XP OS.

make sure that the PDF file name has no spaces.

e.g.

pdf-file.pdf

OK

pdf file.pdf

BAD, will not work.

There is no space in PDF file name.

In that Vista Business laptop, I can go to root directory of the CD, click on the file, and it will open the PDF file without any problem.

But not in the script. Any instruction?

I think you mistyped the file name, or everything is not placed correctly in the root of the CD.
Or maybe you should install the Acrobat Adobe Reader; or you have a strong protection setting that avoids a program that is running on CD to run files, for security reasons.
I see no other problems.

You can also use Insert >Link and the 4th tab, this way the PDF file will be embedded within the CDFrontEnd document . There is a checkbox that you should check if you want the file to be run without asking permission to the end user.
