Hello there. I tried embedding a .avi file in CDFrontEnd Pro in the opening page, but when I run it I only get the audio but not video. Also, I get an error in place of the video saying, "Video not available, cannot find 'vids"dvsd' decompressor". What can be the problem?

As you may know, the AVI format contains several subformats.
You need either to save the video to another AVI subformat (possibly less complex - or there are high chances that the end user PC, like yours, does not have the video decompressor codec), or convert the video to another format such as WMV or MPEG.

In other words, the video has been saved with a too much specific codec that was available for the program that saved the video, but it's not one of the commonly system installed codecs.
