Save current work. Make Duplicate for diff version

I created a movie for one purpose with gifs, jpgs .. the works. Now I would like to duplicate it and take out a couple of pages and add a new section for a different presentation. I want to keep the original movie in tack. Please tell me exactly how I save it (does it require a new folder or process) so that I can work on and not lose my first version? Thanks so much, Janet

just use File >Save as... and type a nice name... this will save the current file with a different name (the original file will remain in place with the original name). Then nothing more to do... you can freely act on this new file that is a duplicate with a new name (each work file - AEH file - contains all the pages gifs jpegs etc of the current work)
