The email address for support is support@ebookswriter.com or support_ebw@visualvision.com This is the user's forum. Yes we take a look sometimes . As for your question, it is not possible to change the default directory. There is a pratical reason: if more than 1 ebook is installed, the viewer is installed one time only, thus saving HD space.

I already did write support over a week ago and still no reply on the same issue. that does stink on the default directory. I have found this is not very customizable. And the docs aren't the greatest because I have looked everywhere on why the bottom of every page of the compiled version says something about user information in very small font and also no way to not prompt the user for their name and email. If there is ways to control that, its definately hidden in the docs somewhere.

We always reply to support email. If you didn't get a reply in 24 hours, this means we have not received your email. BTW we experienced a major mail server failure last week, so this may be the cause. As for your questions, if the user doesn't enter user name and email, a small text is displayed to force user to insert user name and email. It is not possible to disable this, i.e. it is not possible to not ask user name and email, as these data are used if you protect the ebook with personal passwords. If you use a personal user password, this is calculated by using user name and email.

At present it is not possible to change icon. As for the cover page, you can change it with "Hypertext >Current hypertext properties", then second tab (in the top left).
