No, EBooksWriter is not an "HTML" product. If you want to "waste time" writing code... please get another product . You can copy & paste images and texts from the browser, and you can import HTML *content* with "File >Import". EBooksWriter uses its own browser, so it is independent from what the user has installed on his PC.

Thanks for the reply. I don't actually want to 'waste time writing code', I just wanted to place a internet search-engine box on the top of the first page and was wondering how I went about it. Now I know.

A search engine box is usually just a "form", with something like POST="http://www.someserver.com/somescript.cgi", some box and a button. With EBooksWriter GOLD you can insert a form, visually. However I can't understand why to insert an Internet search box within an ebook: usually an ebook is intended for a standalone (non-connected) use. A better idea would be to point the guy (the reader) to a page of your Web site if you want the user to go to the Internet / search the Internet / etc. (this way you gain a visitor for your Website, while with a search engine you give out a free visitor for another site). If you wanted to introduce a search engine into the ebook, EBooksWriter automatically includes its own search engine within any ebook built with the program (in any case, an external Internet search engine / script / etc. will not work internally on an ebook). Hope we have been exaustive

Regrettably some people is attempting to use the forum in order to raise their position on Google. We are filtering out all their terms, so it is likely they won't waste their time with useless posts. We are currently filtering out the name of over 50 pharmaceutical stuff We are posting this message as we do notice that you, the regular EbooksWriter users, are not using the forum so much. Why? Posting a link to your site (about your ebook) here will raise your position on Google and will advertise your ebook. Please be kind and post this kind of advertising ONLY to the proper topic that is "examples of ebooks created with ebookswriter" http://www.easywebeditor.com/cgi-bin/forum/YaBB.pl?board=EBW;action=disp lay;num=1021548372 or also "examples of ebooks created with ebookswriter" http://www.paperinik.com/cgi-bin/eng/YaBB.pl?board=EBW;action=display;nu m=1021548372
