No, ebooks created with EBooksWriter are hypertextual. An hypertext does not have page numbers by default. As you can try (the LITE edition is free and you can download it), the program associates a number to each page, but this number is not shown to the end user. So you can either manually add numbers to pages, or use no numbers (in case the ebook has several reading path: this is not common to paper book, but this is possible for ebooks: to say one, there are mistery books with different ends, different paths that the reader selects...). By the way, if your book is linear, you can setup a "predefined page order" that is a special order that you can setup and that the end user can use to print the ebook; when it will choose the Print option (if enabled), it will have the option "use predefined page order", and so it will be able to print the pages with the order you defined (this order can be whatever you like. As said the program uses an internal number for pages, for fast reference, but this number is not shown, so you can setup as predefined page order something like 12,1,4,6,7,11,1,2, etc... by the way you can set up this order visually). The predefined page order can be set with Hypertext >Predefined page order - TOC

In other words, EBooksWriter do NOT add a number at the end of your pages. This is because EBooksWriter is NOT LIMITED to sequential books (sequential means with one single limited page order 1 2 3 4 5 6 etc... and not other page orders), but it is OPEN TO NON SEQUENTIAL books. But you, the author, CAN add a page number at the bottom of your pages. Simply you type it. E.g. at the bottom of your page 1, type 1 at the bottom of page 2, type 2 etc.
