Greetings all. this is my first posting. I have just started using EWE and am finding the learnign curve a little steep I have taken a icture with my new digital camera, I have reduced its size using Paint Shop Pro 7 so that it will not take too long to download and have inserted the image as background using "Page Properties" (right click on the frame where I want the image. In the Page Properties dialogue I have checked "Use Image as Backgound" and have selected the image that I wish to use. On the "Insert Images:" dialogue I have checked stretch. All is OK except that the image does not stretch. It tiles. Is this a fault with the software or am I missing something? Does anyone know of a work around?

The "stretch" option you checked is just a display option within that dialog. An image used as background will always tile. Maybe there's a Javascript (an external script you might insert) for stretching an image as background, even if till now I don't remember any sites with a stretched image as background.

Thanks very much. I suppose that the good idea will have to wait for the time being. Come to think of it, the image would need to change its size dynamically as the window was resized. that would slow things down a bit! Nick
