Hi,

Using EWE trial version, does anyone know how to make the colour of a link change when the mouse cursor is placed over it?

Regards,

Mark.

 Hi Mark
to change the color of the link go to: Format/styles...  click on the 'link' tab, in here you can change the color of the link.
cheers

Hi!
To be precise this will edit the Paragraph Style, as the link color is from the Paragraph Style.

For more information about Styles see the PDF manual.........

You may edit the style applied to the current paragraph (Format >Styles) or you may create a new style where the link color is different (Format >New style). Also, the link may be bold instead of underlined.... and so on....

This is a Frequently Asked Question, you find it if you use F1 (then you may search for "link" with the search function), or www.easywebeditor.com/faq/

Thanks for your reply. as for posting to reply to a message, I get it now. thanks.

anyhow, the link information, still doesnt work, if I try to  change a link color, only for one specific link, ie: an email link, it default to the same color I used for my page (tab) links..Still in keeping with use, the feature: format / styles..etc. Something so very simple is now frustrating..
I have tried and tried.

When you change the link color for a given style, it changes the link color for all the paragraphs where that style is applied.

This is the purpose of a Style. A Style is a powerful way to change everything in a document by changing only one control.

If, instead, you want normal links to be color1 (say red) and some others to be color2 (say green), then you should create a new style for green links.

Use Format >New style, then create a new style where you will set the color for the links "green". Say you name this style "GreenLinks" (you normally give a meaningful name to each style)

Then for each paragraph you want to be with green links, you apply the style GreenLinks (to apply a style to a paragraph, you put the cursor within the paragraph, then you use the pull down styles menu - you find it on the top right bar)

You can create infinite styles.

p.s. there is a limit: all links on a given paragraph must have the same color. You can override this by using images instead text.
