why not to use the search feature of the forum (on the top), write "meta tag" and press the search button??

when I generate meta tags / meta tag description in the page properties: script/meta
between head and head, then publish preview, I view the source and the meta tag description are not there.? anyone know why ?

you may have to refresh the page on the browser (SHIFT + Refresh button in order to cancel the browser's cache).
 
if you are using frames, please use the search feature and search for "master frame" (or read the Frames chapter on the manual - the frame concept is simple but is a bit long to be explained with words... specially when it is already explained elsewhere ), then make sure that the META is inserted within the master frame.
