I'm in a predicament. I purchased EWE because some acquaintances started a web page for me and they did not complete it. To be quite frank, I do not know where to start a web page incorporating some text & images from the incomplete web site and from files. I'm sure you all tell how to do it, but I must be missing it. You can put me in the high end of the inept column. I'm a nuts & bolts guy. Can you help?

The best thing is to start from scratch.

You may copy/paste texts from the existing pages you have (from the browser).

You may insert images with Insert >Image (you may save images from browser with the right mouse button then "Save image...")

To create the page(s) layout you should use invisible tables: please read the Chapter "Graphics and paging pages" of the PDF manual.
Also the PDF manual is a very concise way to learn the basics about the program - specially Chapter 1 and 2. Less than 20 pages, but really worthless.
