Dynamic reading of media on CD-ROM?

Sorry for the dumb question, but... is it possible to have Hyperpublish create a CD-ROM where it reads out the content of a subfolder (e.g. word files or PDFs) by itself -- or do all these files have to be manually added in the editor?

This is for a CD that my client wants to update regularly with new files.

Also, I work on Mac OS X, so I'll probably be looking for a developer knowing his/her way around HyperPublish. Anyone?

You can create a link that will show the MSWindows file explorer opened within this subfolder.

Select a text block, Insert >Link, 3rd tab, press the Add+ button, then type:

run:cddrive:\thenameofthenicefolder

(or maybe it is)
run:cddrive:thenameofthenicefolder

Both run: and cddrive: are keywords, you must type them exactly (and lowercase).
The program knows the CD drive letter and will automatically insert it by replacing cddrive:

thenameofthenicefolder is an example, you should replace it with the pathname of the CD folder that contains your PDF files / you want to show (e.g. mydata\pdffiles\ ).
