I would like to add a password protected page to my website so that I have to give the user id and password to only certain people who I want to be able to view this particular page.   Is this possible to do?

Hi!
Yes, this is a server-side feature.
Check your host "Control Panel" or ask your hosting service.

Usually you can password protect "folders" rather than single pages.

Example:
www.visualvision.com/privatearea/
(this does not exist, it is an example)

Then you usually use one file for the main part of the website (non protected), and another HyperPublish file for the protected folder.

To place a link from the main file to the protected folder, you select a text block, Insert >Link, click the 3rd tab, press the Add+ button, then you type the full URL of the protected folder, e.g.
http://www.visualvision.com/protectedarea/

That's all
