I have a project which has links to internal files (PDF's) on a distribution CD - the target users all have Adobe Reader pre-installed so I just need a simple link to the files.

These files require frequent updating and I assumed I could use the Hypertext Images and files album option to update these without re-defining the various links on the page. However, when I use this option the link from the page does not work and I have to reset it manually. Any suggestions as to where I'm going wrong?

I think this does not work. When you delete an embedded file all links to it are also deleted.

It would be better to place these files externally (link to external files) then to update them when you burn the CD.
