Title: Re: Importing HTML templates Post by Support Staff on Feb 20th, 2003, 5:50am This function is now disabled in EasyWebEditor. You can copy & paste text or images (separately) from the browser window, through the clipboard, however. The function is available in 1SITE, www.1site.info. Generally, EasyWebEditor is very simple to use but has a poor import capability for existing sites. There is a reason for this: EasyWebEditor (and 1SITE) sites are perfectly compatible with NS4 and IE5; unfortunately FrontPage or Macromedia sites usually are not, so an automatized import-and-conversion-to-compatible is pretty impossible. A manual import takes more time but the professional result pays for it. |
