Title: PayPal Shopping Cart-IPN
Post by Alan Hickey on Sep 9th, 2002, 5:39pm
Hello Forum;  From what I can gather, this forum is mostly for users to help each other with problems that we might encounter using Visual Visions software.  Before I get to my problem I would first like to say that I've had nothing but excellent support from the staff at Visual Vision and I've asked them lots of questions.  They always respond quickly and politely, even if my questions were not that difficult.  Now, to my problem, I want to use the Instant Payment Notification feature that PayPal provides but I'm not sure how to create and use the page that PayPal needs to post HTML information to.  I know that this page will not be linked to others on my website so only I will be able to view it but I'm not sure how I would view it.  Also, I think I will need to put some sort of form on the page but I don't know what kind of form or how to create it.  Is anyone out there using this feature and, if so, could you maybe point me in the right direction?  Thanks,
                                              Alan

Thank you support staff.  This site does use Paypal but they use the WebAccept version and not the PayPal Shopping Cart version that I use.  I've decided not to use PayPal's IPN feature after consulting with Payal.  IPN  requires a little more computer savvy than I have at the moment.  Thanks again.
