Title: 2 questions
Post by Katee Lee on Jun 22nd, 2006, 11:02am
1st Q- I want to burn my pages/file to cd but what I read in the manual is I have to create the whole thing in a temp. file. Please, tell me I don't have to do this whoel thing over!

Is there anyway I can get what I have already created on to cd without having to recreate it in a temp. file?

2nd Q- is there a way I can send a set of files online as a web site using CD Front End? I have a host server I just need to get what I have up there.
How do I do that?

when the manual says you must create a temporary folder, this means that you must use a temporary space on your hard disk in order to store the files automatically created by the program (by the wizard).
You have to do nothing more complicated than:
- with the MS Windows  File Explorer, create a folder, e.g. c:\MyTemp
- then use the CD Wizard and tell to the program that that is the temporary folder (for HyperPublish, you do this with the PATH tab of the CD Wizard)

this is the HYPERPUBLISH forum. With HyperPublish, you use the Publish menu (Internet - FTP publishing) to publish the work on the Web.
I think this is not available in CDFrontEnd, so you need HyperPublish or maybe 1SITE.....
