Photo album, thumbnails, image gallery

I'd like a way to create pages with lots of family pictures from a previous link page by holiday or event. Is there a way to load 20+ pictures onto a webpage without manually inserting each pic separately? BTW, I am still very new with 1site. However, I am getting the hang of it. Added... Also would like actual image size to be observed by user while image is clicked on. Not just like an "icon" size".

Hope support will answer this one too! How to create a thumbnail photo gallery so that when you click on pictures the real format pops up and to do this not one picture at a time but with a batch of images of course? That is the question.

by using the slide feature within the popup? This is an idea. By the way, 1SITE version 2005 contains an automatic image gallery generator (it can automatically generate thumbnails and will automatically link them to pages or popups) www.1site.info

Thanks for the update Support. Think i'll have to pass this one though. The main reason i purchased EWE was it's compatibility with all browsers. Already had FrontPage. If an upgrade to EWE would include this image gallery capability at a moderate price, then perhaps i would consider it. But not a new program! Besides, FrontPage has this capability.

Hi! 1SITE is actually EWE with more features. You can open the EWE files, and the compatibility is ensured ) EWE users may upgrade to 1SITE at a discounted price. Email orders@visualvision.com with your past order number. And by the way 1SITE has much more than Front Page, is compatible with any browser, makes you more productive and fast, and costs less that's a thing always appreciated

Very simple: for each image that you want to display create a new page (for example with CTRL+) then insert an image per page. Then, with a paint program, create a small copy of each image. Then in a new page (may be the index page) insert the small images. Then put the mouse on the first small image, use the right mouse button, and choose "Define link" or "Define special link" to place a link to the page with the true image.

I have a suggestion for the programmers, concerning thumbnails. It seems the work involved in creating a thumbnail is has many steps, how about implimenting auto thumbnail as in frontpage, with an option to insert in the same container or new page Scott

the photo album / auto thumbnail feature is present in 1Site. You can upgrade from EasyWebEditor to 1Site for a low price, just ask us by email (include your data)... As said above 1Site is a sort of EasyWebEditor with more power, that shares the same base interface/features and can use the same files (no changes to your site or other boring things).
