Saved uploading location

Hi all! I'm a little baffled by a weird occurance. All of my 24 students have their own secured location inside my webpage. (it's folders that i created with passwords). Therefore, I created 24 different templates to track each of these sites, and I upload them about once a week. However, when i upload them, it doesn't save the location where it's pointed to in the "Server settings", when i go to the publish tab. I have to maually open the correct folder in the Publish tab, and point the dile to the correct folder. What's going on? It never used to have that problem?

the publishing folder setup is the "Initial Remote Directory" If you create (say) 24 different profiles with different I R D, this will work. Make sure you wrote the folders correctly. Usually it will be something like /www/student1 /www/student2 /www/student3 etc...
