I am new to this program and am testing it to purchase the Gold edition. I have a photo as a background and I imported and resized another photo which I wanted to place on the side. ASfter resizing, the photo is in the middle of the page. I select the image, but I cannot move it by dragging it, or using my keyboard arrows or any other way. It is just sitting in the middle on top of my text. How do I move it?

The best possible way in order to have a CD that will be good on any screen resolution / any monitor is to use transparent tables. The common techniques are explained within the chapter "Graphics and paging pages" of the PDF manual, with images and examples. You will find it is quite handy once you get the trick
