Click+Drag+Drop Please?

Hello all, I am a new user Of CDFE Pro. I really see the power and potenial of this application. I love what it offers overall in it's feature rich interface.

The only thing for me is that in my experiences of using similar applications, the abilty to click-drag-drop images on the work interface is so needed. If nothing else it helps with visualization and adds simplicity in work flow. To have to play with format, and create invisible tables, and then resize and/or slide images from column to column to position it diverts you a little.  And the ability to set custom stage size attributes would be a plus. If someone knew of any plugins or updates or ideas please let me know. If I am incorrect on something  please advise.

Actually drag / drop and fixed positioning works well when you design something to be printed on paper, but it doesn't work so well for video.

Yes, it's handy. But if you position thing this way, your CD is usually good on your PC only. When you try it on a different PC with a different screen, it's too small or too large........

This doesn't happen if you play a bit with invisible tables (by using backgrounds for columns and rows I obtained a lot of fancy effects.....) and you design an intelligent layout this way. Yes this requires a bit of time, I know.... at the first sight I admit this was not so lovely for me......... but now that I got the trick I am satisfacted

Thank you for your insight on this matter. I really love this thing and will invest the time to achieve a level of competency with it.
