Thanks for all your help so far. I am doing great and am ready to do the following: When the CD is loaded I want a short avi video to run, when it is done I then want to go to the regular start page. What steps do I take to do this. As always, thanks for your help Bruce

You should 1) place the video on the very first page that is shown (cover page). Usually this is page 0, but you can setup as cover any other page (under Hypertext >Current hypertext properties >Second tab) you may setup a black background or anything will be ok for the video 2) within this page (the one with the video) use "Format >Page properties" then the Slides tab, and setup a slide effect. Say the video is 240 seconds long, and the first page of your CD is page1, then setup that after 240 seconds there is a slide to page1 (you should then test the CD, just to make sure you don't need 239 or 241 seconds to better fit).

Thanks - How do you "place the video" on a page? I know how to do a external like to a video and start it that way. How would you place this video on the first page so that it plays automatically? thanks again

Insert >Sound / animation You may use invisible tables to position the stuff.
