Management has given me a project to make the files "self destruct" on a CD after a certain date. The expiration date feature in CDFrontEnd is intriguing to me, and I am wondering if this is the solution. Most of the files on the CD are ppts and media files (mpgs, wavs, avis, jpgs, gifs, etc.) Will this product also prevent users from copying the files from the CD and using them locally on their PC? Thanks! -Joe

It will not self-destruct . However, if you insert the various things within the CDFrontEnd pages, yes, they won't be available on the CD (this is true also when the CD is not expired) and yes, the CD will elapse (will no longer be useable) on the date you set up as expiry date.
